My research passion lies at the exciting intersection of Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its profound applications in the domains of robotics, machine learning, and deep learning. The transformative potential of Generative AI to revolutionize these fields is what captivates me and fuels my dedication to exploration and innovation.
Recently, I embraced Kotlin, a language closely related to Java, as it perfectly aligns with my work on the Furhat Robot project. MySQL, with its prowess as a versatile scripting language, plays a pivotal role in my data storage strategies.
In the realm of frameworks, I have honed my skills in PHP Laravel for crafting robust backends, while Vue.js serves as my go-to choice for dynamic frontend and native applications. Nuxt.js, a framework built upon another framework, has become my weapon of choice for Server-Side Rendering (SSR) to enhance SEO and user experiences.
My DevOps expertise encompasses tools like Jenkins and Git Version Control, coupled with my proficiency in the Linux operating system. I have harnessed the power of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Digital Ocean to deploy and manage websites and backend APIs efficiently.
I am currently contributing to an exciting project titled "Developing a Social Robot for Cantonese and Mandarin Speech Prosody Training in Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder." As a Research Associate at The Department of Chinese and Bilingual Studies at PolyU, I am collaborating closely with Dr. Si Chen, who leads this groundbreaking initiative. Our work is centered on harnessing cutting-edge technology to address a critical challenge, and I am honored to be part of a team dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
